… of the year that is!

I have so much vacation days left that I am carry over five days to 2007 and I’m taking Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday off! Why am I going on Wednesday? Because that’s the day when Molding department is taking us out to Lunch :)

Today was the Quality lunch. We ordered it from this awesome Italian take out place and I got white pizza with mozzarella, spinach, garlic, onion, broccoli and mushroom. YUM! The auditors surprised me with some gifts – gift cards to JoAnn’s, gift card to Chili’s, Lemon and Earl Grey Tea set with mugs and tea ball that holds the tea leaves, lots of chocolate and this awesome flower scarf! :) I have to say I was probably the only engineer that got gifts from EVERY auditor! GO ME!!! I made these mini-mittens ornimans for them and they are so adorable and easy to make. I got the pattern from my Day-a-Pattern Knitting calendar. Of course, I forgot to take a picture. I’ll be making more so I’ll make sure I take some pictures next time.

Only one week till we go to Michigan…

Happy Sunday! Where have I’ve been, you asked? Well, lets see…

Monday morning, I received a call from certain someone for something special for Tuesday. Monday night, I went to Walgreens at 10:30pm to look for some make up since I threw out all my old make up not too long ago. Also I got this in the mail:

My bridal gown swatch!!!

Tuesday afternoon, I went to the place for that something special. More on that later.

Wednesday night, I went to Stitch n Bitch and started a Neiman Marcus Scarf. And I am almost done with it!!! All I need now is a ribbon yarn to weave through it.

Thursday night, David and I took some Germans to dinner at the cookhouse. We of course stuffed ourselves silly, being the Cookhouse is so good… hush puppies… fried cream corn pops… slow smoked ribs… yummmmm…

Friday night, David and I went to see the Casino Royale. It has some of the same characters from the original one but the story line seems to be different. We now have to go rent the original one so we can watch it and compare the difference. The movie itself was very good – even though the Bond was blonde.

Saturday and Sunday (today) was exhausting because I was at the security exam crash course. It’s a lot of info in two days. But it is over. Now I just have to really study.

Now I’m just gonna go sit on the couch and pay attention to David and the dogs…
